Marguerite brings a powerful mix of leadership theory, disruptive innovation strategy, corporate experience, and advanced neuroscience, behavioral economic and neuroeconomic study that helps leaders use Creative Disruption to stimulate innovation and create value within their teams and across their organizations.
Marguerite holds an MA (Leadership) from the University of Guelph. She is a graduate of Change Leadership and Executive HR Leadership programs at Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, and a recent student of Harvard Business School’s Clayton Christensen, the world’s foremost authority on disruptive innovation. She is also a CTI® certified coach, with Results Coaching System™ Certification from the NeuroLeadership Institute™, and Licensed, Specialty-Certification as a New Life Story® Wellness Coach.
Marguerite has extensive experience in and a deep understanding of the corporate environment, specializing in Human Resources. A former pharmaceutical company executive and business consultant, she has advised leaders at every level in industries ranging from pharmaceutical and financial services to manufacturing, IT, and entertainment.
Marguerite believes in the importance of unplugging from work, which is why she volunteers within her community to help others and build relationships. Marguerite is on the board for the Women for Stem mentorship program at Ontario Tech University (UOIT). Marguerite leads the Rotary Club of Oshawa Youth Exchange Program, and has leadership roles within Brooklin United Church.
Marguerite is also the host of the weekly podcast Creative Disruption, featuring interviews with the thought leaders and CEOs who have broken beyond “status quo thinking” and brought new innovations successfully to market.
